Dr. Casimyr is multilingual and relates with culturally diverse populations and endeavors to reduce the language barriers between diverse patients and their providers.

She is author of the book, Treating Culturally Diverse Patients? What You Should Know, which highlights language barriers and the lack of cultural competency in health care, and offers suggestions on how to overcome those barriers.
